Advanced is a word I seldom use with firearms, as there is no such thing as an advanced shooting program - everything is fundamentals.  Advanced Reactive Handgun is no different - it is still just the fundamentals.  However, this 9 hour class is based on the principles of human response time as developed by Bill Rogers and the Rogers Shooting School, and will utilize a time controlled target.  It is fast paced and high round count, with a heavy emphasis on one handed shooting.  The student will be expected to be proficient in the basic operation of their weapon and be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic firearms safety.  Class size is limited to five (5) students.
This course will cover the following
  • Principles of reactive shooting
  • Proper grip and stance
  • Trigger control and sight management
  • Recoil management
  • Multiple targets
  • Presentations and reloads
  • Firearm and equipment selection
