Vehicle Environments is a 1 day (9 hour) course which will introduce the student to the concepts and tactics of operating within and around vehicles. This course has a pre-requisite: Reactive Handgun Fundamentals or equivalent training is required.  This course is geared primarily towards the handgun but can be expanded to long guns on request.

This course will cover the following

• Mindset
  
• Gear selection and placement
• Fundamental refresher
• Manipulations within vehicles
• Egress from vehicles
• Multiple target engagement
• Unconventional shooting positions
• Use of vehicle as cover and concealment

Students should bring the weapon and holster that they actually use for self defense. A service size handgun in 9mm caliber or larger is recommended.

The student will need the following

• Heavy duty handgun
• 350 rounds of practice ammunition (round counts can be adjusted as needed)
• Three magazines or speedloaders
• Strong side holster, gun belt, and magazine / speedloader pouch
• Hearing and wrap around eye protection
• Hat, sunscreen, and full coverage shirts and shoes (no tank tops, low cut shirts, sandals or flip flops)
• Knee and elbow pads are optional
• Rain gear for inclement weather
• Conceal carry garment, cover shirt, jacket, or vest
